Jackson

Dana A. Jackson is an associate of Carey and Stewart, PLLC. Ms. Jackson provides skilled, aggressive legal representation for clients injured in accidents, navigating family court disputes and facing criminal charges.

Before joining Carey & Stewart, PLLC, Ms. Jackson worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the 1st Circuit Public Defender Corporation in Weirton, WV, where she represented criminal defendants and juvenile delinquents in both magistrate and circuit courts.

Ms. Jackson grew up in Shadyside, Ohio. She graduated from Shadyside High School in 2013. Ms. Jackson received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Mount Union in 2016, where she graduated magna cum laude and in just three short years. In her time at the University of Mount Union, Ms. Jackson was part of the Alpha Xi Delta social sorority, as well as the Pi Sigma Alpha and Alpha Lambda Delta Honorary Fraternities. Ms. Jackson earned her Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University in 2019, graduating magna cum laude. She also graduated in 2019 from Comillas Pontifical Universidad in Madrid, Spain with a Master of Law in International and European Business Law, where she graduated Concesion Premio Extraordinario, or top of her class.

While in law school, Ms. Jackson worked for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office in the Child Support Unit, where she was able to learn the specific nuances of calculating child support. She also worked for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Ohio under District Attorney Justin Herdman.

Before Ms. Jackson began her legal career, she worked at BELCO Works, Inc. in Belmont County, Ohio, where she spent her days helping individuals with special needs find and keep jobs in the community.

Ms. Jackson is licensed to practice law in the State Courts of West Virginia, Ohio and New York.
